Hazel Mann Fortner

Hazel M. Fortner, 79, of Burlington, passed away on April 23, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Taylor “Bud” Mann and Myrtle W. Mann, one son, three brothers and two sisters.  She is survived by one sister, Mary R. Overman; ex-husband and special friend, Jerry Fortner; five children, 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday April 26, 2023 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham.  The family will receive friends following the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/ or to AuthoraCare Hospice at https://www.authoracare.org/
