Hazel Foster

Hazel Foster, 91, passed away on November 17, 2017 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Alta Reece Petty and a member of First Baptist Church since 1957. Hazel retired from General Electric. Survivors include her son; Lynn Foster (Patricia) of Mebane, three grandchildren, 5 great-granddaughters and one great-great-grandson, two sisters in-law and many nieces and nephews. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Foster, a sister; Alimae Smith, brothers; Frank "JR" Petty and Donald Petty. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Mebane from 1-2. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields 2502 S. NC Hwy 119 Mebane, NC 27302.
