Hazel Bell Tinnin Poulin

Mrs. Hazel Bell Tinnin Poulin, 91, of Blakey Hall, Elon, NC, formerly of Graham and Liberty, NC passed away on Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Hospice Home of Alamance/Caswell. A native of Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William David and Bessie Hobbs Bell. She was a loving, caring, and generous person and was beloved by everyone she met. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Liberty and she was also very active at the Liberty Senior Center where she was named Senior Volunteer for many years. She retired after many years from Saunders Hosiery Mill in Burlington as well as a retired manager from McDonalds in Shallotte, NC. Mrs. Poulin enjoyed working with Stained Glass, working in her garden and taking trips to the beach with family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Jacquelyn T. Gray and husband Frederick, of Decater, GA. and Cathy Wright and husband Jimmy, of Burlington; son, Robert D. “Bobby” Tinnin and wife Donna, of Graham; sister, Gaynell Ingold, of Graham; grandchildren, Holly Tew and Allison Gray; step grandchildren, Justin Presley, Jeremy Harris, Sara Broughton, and Stephanie Harrell; 6 step great grandchildren; and special loving nieces and nephews, Donna Turney, Kay Morris, and Paul Anthony, and other numerous loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack R. Tinnin and Leo B. Poulin; sisters, Kathleen Moize, Hilda Murree; brothers, Lawrence Bell, William David Bell Jr., and William Henry Bell. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sandra Ireson officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Tuesday at McClure Funeral Home in Graham.
