Helen Dallas Turner

Helen Dallas Turner, 97, of Burlington passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Compass Healthcare in Mebane after two weeks declining health. Helen was born in Caswell County to James Alton Dallas and Mary Jordan Dallas Pegram both deceased. She was the wife of Ralph Monroe Turner also deceased.

Helen had a multifaceted career in the hosiery industry. In addition, she was a spirited, humorful and loving homemaker; a talented seamstress and gardener who led and protected her family. She thoroughly enjoyed family camping, motorcycle riding with her love, and boating along with watching her favorites, Duke basketball and Atlanta Braves baseball.....

Helen is survived by her children, Sons, Larry Turner and Darrell Turner, Daughter, Gayle Riley and her husband Thomas. Eleven Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren. Special Uncle, Jimmy Jordan.

In addition to her parents and husband Helen is also preceded in death by her son, Johnny Turner. Sister, Lessie Oliver, Stepfather, Eldridge E. Pegram, Special aunts, Mildred Forsythe and Eloise Bryan.

A graveside service will be on Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Alamance Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Jason Turner. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday evening at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane, NC.
