Henry Dale Barnwell

Henry Dale Barnwell was born on January 16, 1939. He passed away on July 30, 2026, at White Oak Manor, Burlington, North Carolina. Dale was preceded in death by his father and mother, Anderson Hall and Kate Roney Barnwell, his brother, James Mason Barnwell and his sister-in-law, Kathleen Elizabeth Barnwell. He is survived by niece Kathy Barnwell Wilkins (George) and nephew Ron Barnwell (Martha). He was a member of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church of Mebane. Dale was a native of Mebane, NC and was educated at Pleasant Grove High School. He graduated with a BS degree in Mathematics from Elon College. He worked for Associated Transport in Burlington, NC and Cross Roads Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mebane, NC. He was a care giver for his mother during her declining health. The family would like to thank White Oak Manor for their care and encouragement. A graveside memorial service will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11:30 am at Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
