Henry Erastus Stutts

HAW RIVER, N.C. - Mr. Henry Erastus Stutts, 65, died Jan. 1, 2014, with his family by his side, at the Hospice Home of Burlington, N.C.Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, N.C. by Pastors Bennie Smith and James Christopher. Visitation will immediately follow the service. The family will be receiving guests prior to and following the service at the home of the son, Ray Stutts, 2410 West Front St., Burlington, N.C. Mr. Stutts is survived by his wife, Drenda Snelgrove Stutts, of the home; daughter, Tammy Coley and husband Chris Coley, of Elkin, N.C.; sons, Ray Stutts and wife Tina of Burlington and Darren Stutts of Yanceyville; a sister, Martha Long and husband Ronnie and a brother, Roger Stutts and wife Sharon.He was preceded in death by his father, Ansel Melton Stutts; mother, Nannie Carroll Stutts; and sister, Marie Stewart. Henry's children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren were his proudest accomplishments. Chris Stutts, Kelli Stutts, William Stutts, Emily Stutts, Austin Coley, Silas Coley, Tori Whittaker, Tiffany, Ava Grace and Owen will forever carry on Henry's memory.
