Hilda Walls King

Hilda Walls King, 83, of Swepsonville, NC passed away on February 10, 2025, at her residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert “Rabbit” Walls and Louise Jordan Walls. Hilda retired from the textile industry as a Knitter for many years. She loved to talk and socialize with her family and friends about what was going on around town and what folks were up to. She loved her family in her own way, always making sure everyone was doing their best. She enjoyed her favorite restaurant Guerrero’s in Graham and loved nothing more than going by Cook-Out for a milkshake. Survivors include her son, Richard Edward King (Jackie); her grandchildren, Jason King (Amanda Turner), David King (Kim), Angel K. Flake, and Jennifer Aliff (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Kaidence, Peyton, Mikayla, Karlee, Morgan, Dyllan, Bishop, Dylan, Landon, Logan, Colton, Tyler, and Auston; a great great grandson, Zander; niece and nephew, Betty Williams and Jerry McCray; and a great nephew, Brandon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence “Eddie” King Jr.; a daughter, Donna Faye King; her two sons, Mike King and Robert Wayne King; and a sister, Billie Wynn. A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday February 13, 2025, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Tommy Bright officiating. Entombment will follow along side her husband Eddie, at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
