Hilda Bailey Mitchell

Mrs. Hilda Bailey Mitchell, 89, of Burlington, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 28, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Lessie Wood Bailey.  In her spare time, Mrs. Mitchell enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by her husband, Lacy D. Mitchell.

She is survived by her son, Carl Mitchell (Gaynell); her daughter, Sylvia Duckworth (Ron); her grandchildren, Samantha Duckworth (Eric Dinger), and Laura Reagan (Jack); her great grandchildren, Caleb Dinger, and Kyleigh Reagan; her sister, Mildred Clapp; and her brother in law, Jack Hundley.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Mitchell on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at McClure Funeral Service in Graham beginning at 1:00pm.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane.
