MEBANE - Hilda Evelyn Warren Parker, 91, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.She was a native of Birmingham, Ala. and a retired waitress.She was preceded in death by her parents, D.H. and Lillie Lyster Warren; husband, Robert L. Parker; five brothers and four sisters.She is survived by her children, Rosalie Smith of Young Harris, GA and Lyster A. Parker and wife Irella of Mebane; grandchildren, Rhonda Parker Weiss and husband John of Burlington, Amanda Hassler and husband Karl III of High Point and Deanna Dyer of Murphy, GA; six great- grandchildren; and sister, Rose Farley of Ft. Pierce, FL.A service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in the Strump Funeral Home Chapel in Vero Beach, Fla.
