Howard Stott Kintner

MEBANE - Howard Stott Kintner, 97, of 1863 Turner Road, Lot 36, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at his residence. He was a native of Oregon, retired as a minister after 45 years and was a member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Mable Stott Kintner; brothers, Eugene Kintner, Lauren Kintner and Fred Kintner; and sister, Jessie Prentice. He is survived by his wife, Helen Mary Kintner; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl and Boyd Personett, Marilyn and Edward Mintonye, Judy and Blake Williams, Sue and Thomas Melillo; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at Grace Reformed Baptist Church by Pastor Gary Hendrix. For those not able to attend the service at the church, it will be streamed live on the church's website, www.grbc.net. The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.
