Irene Lawless, 94, passed away on August 11, 2019 at Covington Memory Care Center in Raleigh. She was the daughter of the late John and Mamie Berry Wright. She was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters; Connie Uselman (Greg) and Patricia George (John), sister; Ruby Sutton, grandchildren; Brian Mann, Heather Mann, Olivia Nichols, TJ Nichols and great grandchildren Liam Mann and Oliver Mann.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Lawless, a daughter, Karen Mann, brothers; William Wright and David Wright and a sister Mary Combs.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday August 14, 2019 in the Mausoleum at Alamance Memorial Park.
