Jack Leonard Chapin

Mr. Jack Leonard Chapin of Graham, NC passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Chapin was the son of John Willard Chapin and Violet DeBaun Chapin, both deceased. For his working years Mr. Chapin served as a teacher at Fremont-Ross High School in Ohio, educating students on the subjects of speech and drama. Jack will be remembered as a good man. He enjoyed the hobbies of bowling and golfing, and at one time driving racecars. Jack can be described as nothing short of wonderful, he had a kind soul and supported his loved ones through thick and thin. Over the years, he made sure to take the time to be a good father and good husband.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Chapin was preceded in death by a son, Jay Allen Chapin.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Butler-Chapin of Graham, NC, his son, James Andrew Chapin of Norwalk, Ohio, and his stepson, Jason Fink of Gibsonville, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2021, beginning at 2:00PM, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. A visitation will be held for the family to receive friends an hour prior the service.
