Jack E. Lloyd

Mr Jack Lloyd, 83 of Mebane departed this life and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 29, 2019 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell.  He was the son of the late William Curtis and Amanda Jane Lloyd.  He is survived by his wife, Betty Jones Lloyd, children; Jackie Webster (Jeff), Patsy Madren (Steve), Roger Lloyd (Belinda), Randy Lloyd (Jackie).  Grandchildren; Tiffany Wilkie (Derek), Chad Lloyd (Amy), Brandon Lloyd, Joey Madren (Elizabeth), Robert Webster, Brandy Kelly (Josh), and LeeAnn Williams.  Great grandchildren; Rylan Wilkie, Teegan Wilkie, Berkley Lloyd, Addison Lloyd,  Ava Madren, Annelise Madren, Steven Williams and Hailey Williams. Sisters; Janie Mae Hawkins, Edna Ruth Welch, Elaine Miller.  Brother; James Henry Lloyd.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by sisters; Mamie Louise Lloyd, Mary Ann Smith, Mildred Williams. Brothers; William Lloyd, Leonard Lloyd, and Kendall Lloyd.

Jack was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandaddy.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed gardening in his spare time.  He retired from Winn-Dixie Stores with 42 years of service.  A member of Agape Baptist Church for 38 years.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 1, 2019 form 5-7 pm at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane and other times at the home.  Funeral Service will be held 2 pm on Thursday May 2, 2019 Agape Baptist Church in Mebane.  Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens.
