Mr. Jackie Leon Hamlett, 77, passed away Thursday December 25, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock & Pearlie; brothers David & Jimmy; and son Charlie. He is survived by children Kathy Wyrick, Jack, and Bryant; siblings: Benny, Alvin, Arnold, Ralph, Violet Husketh, and Carol Palmer; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, December 28th at 3:00PM at McClure Funeral & Cremation Service in Mebane. Officiating will be Mr. Manley Palmer Jr. and Pastor Joel Jackson. The family will receive friends at the home of Carol Palmer.
