Mr. James Allen “Bud” Crawford Sr. 84, of Snow camp, NC passed away on March 5, 2022 at his residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC he was the son of the late Dewey and Lula Mae Shore Crawford and the husband to the late Linda Louise Crawford. Bud loved to plant his garden but only to share the produce with his neighbors and friends. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Bud enjoyed cooking and everyone loved when he made his homemade ice cream, especially his family. He also enjoyed his trips to the mountains with his wife and family. Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Grant (Christopher D’Amico), of the home; his sons, James “Allen” Crawford Sr (Donna), of Snow Camp and Barry Lynn Crawford (Anita), of Snow Camp; his loving 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Craven, of South Carolina, Judy Shambley (Eddie), of Haw River and Joan Dixon, of Haw River; and his brothers, Roland Crawford, of Graham, Bobby Crawford, of Haw River and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Tina Crawford; a granddaughter, Brittany Crawford; a sister, Marie Gumm and his brothers, Bill and Charles Crawford. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Graham with the Pastor Norman Fargis officiating. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until service time on Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church and other times at the residence of his son Allen in Snow Camp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church at 515 North Marshall St. Graham, NC 27253. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
