James Betts

Mr. James Michael Betts, 70, of Snow Camp, NC, passed away on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at his residence. Mr. James loved to work on antique vehicles and he especially enjoyed driving his Triumph. He loved his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Mr. James was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife Pamela Brown Betts; daughters, Mickie Abernathy (Jacob) and Elizabeth Betts (James Simmons); grandchildren, Jacob Jr., Dawson, and Isaiah Abernathy; Cousins, Randy Jeff, Rhonda, Steve, and Janet. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Fraser Carter. A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday May 5, 2018 at Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church with the Pastor Don Pegg officiating.
