James Daniel Edwards Sr.

James Daniel "Jimmy" Edwards, Sr. 63, of Mebane passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at his residence.Jimmy was born in Alamance County, NC. He worked in textiles and he served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.Jimmy is survived by his son James Daniel Edwards, Jr. (Angela), Graham; Grandchildren, Jenny Marie, Nick, and James Daniel Edwards, III; sister, Jackie Satterfield of Graham; brother, Jerry Edwards (Sharon) of Haw River, dad, Bill Presnell of Burlington.He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ward Edwards and Molly Wolfe Edwards Presnell.The funeral service will be Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be the Rev. Ken Beverly. Burial with military honors will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
