James Robert Kimrey

GRAHAM - Mr. James Robert Kimrey, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Peak Resources in Graham. James was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Payne and husband Ken, Pam Wall and husband Toney, all of Burlington; sons, Richard Michael Kimrey, Gregory Lynn Kimrey and wife Rebecca, Randall Kimrey and wife Betty, all of Burlington and Darrell Wayne Kimrey of Charlotte; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Cecil Kimrey and wife Judy of Efland.He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Kimrey; parents, Charlie Kimrey and Lennie Baldwin; brother, Hassell Kimrey; and sisters Cora Copple and Audrey Moon.A graveside service will be conducted Friday Dec. 4, 2015 at 11 a.m.int Alamance Memorial Park.
