James Thomas Morrow

GRAHAM, N.C. - James Thomas Morrow, 67, of 2038 Sax-Beth Church Road, passed away at 10:34 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at UNC Hospitals.James was the son of the late Robert Graves Morrow and late Madeline Whitfield Morrow and husband to Linda Phillips Morrow.He was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he taught "Workers For Christ" Sunday school class, as well as a U.S. Army veteran. James is also survived by sons, Brian Scott (Loree) of Graham and Jamie Morrow (Tracey) of Burlington; grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Derek Wilkie (Tiffany) of Graham, Meagan Scott of Graham and Trace Morrow of Burlington; great-grandson, Rylan Wilkie of Graham; brother, Robert Morrow (Alice) of Graham; sisters, Elaine Ballard of Asheville, N.C., Julie Capps of Burlington and Pam Horner of Graham; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, John Morrow.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at McClure Funeral Home in Graham and at other times at the residence of Jamie Morrow, 1941 Conners Court, Burlington, N.C. 27215. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at Bethel Baptist in Graham, N.C., with the Rev. David Jackson officiating.
