James Edward Roach

Mr. James Roach, 95, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 17, 2018 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. James was the son of the late Hubert and Maggie Davis Roach. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and the loving husband of the late Martha Garner Roach. He attended Staley Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Cone Mills.

Survivors include his daughter Sandra Hinkle (Curtis) of Mebane, grandchildren; Jamie Hinkle and Tammy Hinkle Rains, great grandchildren; Ava and Luke Rains and a brother Junior Roach of Graham.

Other than his wife and parents he was preceded in death by sisters; Alene Steele and Lucille Moore and a brother Wink Roach.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday May 20, 2018 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham officiated by Pastor Bennie Smith. The family will receive friends on Sunday prior to the service from 1:30pm-2:30pm at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the home of Sandra and Curtis Hinkle. Burial will follow in Hawfields Cemetery with Military Rights.
