James Edward (Eddie) Ross Jr

James Edward (Eddie) Ross Jr of Graham NC, passed away early in the morning on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was born June 3, 1960 to the excitement of his parents the late James E (Jim) Ross Sr and Jean Monnett Ross. He was devoted and committed to his family, which included his wife, April Spence Ross, and children, Nathan, Noah, and Mya. His pride and love for them was shared with everyone he met. Eddie was the best big brother to his 2 sisters Tanya Ross Judd and Taryn Ross Duncan (Brian) He was an awesome “Uncle” to his nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Elon University, he began his career working at AT&T, moving to Novant health and most currently at Samaritans purse in information technology. Eddie was a strong Christian and served in many capacities at both Glen Hope Baptist and Lambs Chapel, especially gifted working in children’s ministries. He loved tennis, watching UFC fights, doing projects in his home/yard and shopping at Costco.

Eddie’s greatest passions were God, his family and conversing with people. Faithfully serving the Lord and living with integrity and kindness, Eddie was a wonderful husband and exceptional father to his 3 children for whom he was deeply proud and loved intensely. He was infamous for his humorous, extravagant stories. All who knew him were blessed by his encouraging spirit and engaging conversations. Just like his father Eddie couldn’t go anywhere in public without seeing someone he knew, talking to them and losing track of time.

To know Eddie was a blessing but to get to experience his kindness and joy for life was what made him unforgettable.

Visitation will be held at Lambs Chapel on Sunday, May 10th from 3-5pm and funeral on Monday, May 11th at 3 pm.
