James Keith Rudd

James Keith Rudd, loving husband, father, brother, and son left his earthly body Saturday, December 23rd and joined our heavenly father at the young age of 45. Keith’s heart was too big for this world. Keith touched the lives of more people than he ever realized. Keith never met a stranger and always had a smile. Keith was a man who loved working with his hands and teaching others. His truck was his trophy as he built it with his hands from scratch. Keith was known for many things in life, his constant smile and the best egg sandwich maker in the county were two of those things. We know he has already found the biggest lake in heaven and is on the boat with his dad.

Although we know Keith did not want to leave his family, he leaves behind his best friend and wife of 21 years, Sherry Dawn Rudd; his sister, Crystal Rudd; his children, Karlee Phillippie (Austin), Aaron McDaniel (Kylie), Jonny Rudd (Olivia), and Lily Rudd; and his most prized possession, his grandchildren, Easton Phillippie, Piper Rudd, and Addison McDaniel; and his mother, Lynn Durham (Barry).

Mr. Rudd was preceded in death by his father, Rickey Rudd, and his in-laws, John Stallings, and Cindy Stallings.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, beginning at 2:00pm at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. A visitation will be held for the family to receive friends from 12:00pm – 2:00pm prior to the service.

Although our hearts are broken, heaven is a little sweeter now. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers for the days to come.
