Janie (Webster) Carver

Janie Webster Carver, 88, of Yanceyville passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington. Janie was born in Caswell County to John Edgar and Naomi Pulliam Webster both deceased. She was the wife of the late James Willard Carver. Janie was retired from A.O. Smith and she was a member of Old Lea Bethel Baptist Church.

Janie is survived by her: sons, John W. “Will” Carver (Pamela) of Prospect Hill, James R. “Red” Carver (Lisa) of Elon, Jerry W. Carver of Fayetteville. Twelve grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Siblings, Frank Webster of Alamance and Sadie Stokes of Altamahaw. Daughter in law, Cathy Carver. Sister in law, Mary Griffin (Harry) of Greensboro. In addition to her parents and husband, Janie was also preceded in death by her son, Donnie Carver and brothers, Grover, Eddie and Aaron Webster.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM  in Cooper Cemetery, Cooper Cemetery Rd., Prospect Hill, NC. Officiating will be Reverend Richard Rorrer. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6:00 PM until 8:00 Sunday evening. At other times they will be at residence of Will Carver, 1275 Carver Rd., Prospect Hill, NC 27314.
