JANIE ANN BERRY TAYLOR, 93, of Mebane died at home on Feb. 13, 2018. A native of OrangeCounty, she was the wife of the late John B. Taylor and daughter of Eugene Berry and Alma McAdams Berry, both deceased. She is survived by three children: Alma Hobby Privette (Tommy) and Don Hobby of Mebane, Lynne Hobby Clark (Brad) of Littleton; three grandchildren: Deana Hobby Denton (Daniel), Daniel Privette (Ashley), and Will Hall; 2 great grandchildren: Kensey Stewart (K.J.) and Samuel Privette; one great great granddaughter Maddyn Stewart. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother Thomas Berry and grandson Joshua Hobby. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Luke’s UMC, 752 Greenwood Drive, Burlington on Saturday, February 17th at 11 a.m. by Pastor Tommy Privette. Burial will follow at Hebron UMC, 2325 Mebane Oaks Road, Mebane. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Memorials may be made to Agua Viva Ministries 71 Byrd Road, Mebane, NC 27302.
