Jay Herman Stutts

BURLINGTON - Jay Stutts, 74, of Burlington passed away on July 21, 2016 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was also employed as a driver with ACTA. Survivors include a sister; Mary Rich (Robert), brother; James Stutts Sr. (Juliann), step children Pete Groce (Leanne) and Debbie Pugh; an adopted son; Brandon Stutts, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Minnie Sparks Stutts. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday July 24, 2016 at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park. At other times the family will be at the residence of Mary and Robert Rich.
