Mrs. Jeanette Jones Andrews Johnson 89, of Graham, NC passed away on November 9, 2024, at The Woods at Holly Tree in Wilmington, NC. Born in Pittsylvania Co. VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Shelton Jones and the wife of the late Benny Lloyd Andrews and Sidney Cecil Johnson, Jr. Jeanette worked in Banking in the Alamance County area as a customer service representative for over 45 years as she helped so many people get their first bank accounts set up. She enjoyed shopping with her daughter and friends and always stopping by Belk and Hobby Lobby. She loved and adored her little Schnoodle dog Buffy, which Buffy stayed by her side until the very end. She was a proud member of Historic Providence Christian Church for 63 years where she sang in the Church Choir and cherished her Church Circle which volunteered for many church functions over the years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all, but nothing put a smile on her face like her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Ginger A. Bass and husband Sam, Mary Ann Johnson and husband Tom, and LaRue Phillips and husband Dean; her grandchildren, Lauren Miron and husband Daniel, and Megan Konrady and husband Tanner; her great grandchildren, Ben Miron, Tate Konrady, Lane Konrady and her loving step grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and William Allison. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday November 14, 2024, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Darryl Peebles officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity UMC 1403 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401 or to Amedisys Hospice at 1003 Olde Waterford Way Suite 2D, Leland, NC 28451.
