Jenna Renea Goode

Jenna Renea Goode, 27, of Mebane went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2024.  Jenna never met a stranger and was admired by all who knew her.  She loved nature and found solace at the beach and in the mountains. She also loved animals, fishing with her dad, all kinds of music, but most importantly, she loved Jesus. When in school, Jenna was the only one who earned every superlative and she was also crowned homecoming queen.  Jenna was very athletic and enjoyed playing golf. She was a wonderful mother and always put her family whom she adored first. The most important thing in her life was caring for and being a mother to her two boys, Teegan and Ollie.  Jenna will be remembered for her feisty, hardworking, determined, caring personality.  She was our first girl and forever will be.

Jenna was preceded in death by her grandpa and the love of her life, Bill Goode; her grandmother, Elizabeth Bledsole; and her uncles, John Goode and Todd Fogleman.

She is survived by her parents, Jeremy and Angela Goode; her children, Teegen Tyler McSwain and Oliver William McSwain; her fiancée, Tyler McSwain; her brothers, Jeremy Robert Goode Jr., Jacob Ryan Goode (Haley Parsons); Austin Woody, and Chase Woody; her sister, Tammy Woody (Keith); her grandmother, Pam Goode; her grandfather, David Bledsole; her great grandfather, “Grandpa Great” Robert Sargent; her aunt, Teri Fogleman; her uncles, Andrew Goode (Cady), Michael Bledsole (Gina), Jimmy Bledsole (Darlene), and Donald Bledsole (Sarah Boggs); her nieces and nephews, Ryker Goode, Blaine Goode, Jace Goode, Wade Goode, Tilly Blankenship, Izzy Blankenship, Lennon McSwain, and Salem McSwain; her father in law and mother in law, Steven and Sharon McSwain; her sister in law, Taylor McSwain, her brother in laws, Trevor McSwain and Tevin McSwain; and many cousins.

A celebration of Jenna’s life will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 3:00pm at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
