Jerlene Buchanan Knight

Jerlene Buchanan Knight, 84 of Mebane passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at her residence. She was a native of Caswell County, Retired manager at GE Credit Union in Mebane and following her retirement from GE she was employed at Suntrust Bank and she was a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church. She is the daughter of the late Van & Edna Barts Buchanan; she was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin Arthur Knight; sister, Faye Hyman and brother, Mack Buchanan.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Knight and wife Elizabeth of Mebane, Kirk Knight and girlfriend Michelle of Graham; sister, Judy B. Bateman of Gibsonville; Daughter in Law, Karen Knight of Efland; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 Thursday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Doug Duggins. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 before the service, other times at the residence.
