Jerry Martin Wilder

Mr. Jerry Martin Wilder, 67 of Efland, NC, passed away Monday August 6, 2018 at Duke Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. He was retired from Brenntag of Durham as a truck driver. He had a deep love for fishing and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willis Martin "Bill" and Lula Geneva Terrell Wilder, sisters Carolyn Manuel and Kathy Burleson and sister-in-law Becky Wilder.

He is survived by his children Tammy Wilder and Bridgette Smith (Brian), along with grandchildren Kaci Baker (Justin), Cody Anderson (Jennifer O'Neil), Kaitlyn Anderson (Joseph Dixon), Nicole Smith, Maggie Smith and Stroker Smith. Great Grandchildren Cayden Baker, Alex and Mason Anderson, Ryder, Remington and Rylea Dixon. Sister Judy Wilder and Brothers Willis Wilder (Pam), Charles Wilder (Vivian) and Keith Wilder, along with many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 9, 2018 at 3:00PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 1:00PM until 3:00PM Thursday prior to the service.
