Jesse "Cap" Everett Stout

Mr. Jesse Everett “Cap” Stout Jr., 82, of 5428 Snow Camp, RD. Graham, NC, passed away on Saturday February 7, 2015 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, NC, he was the son of the late Jesse E. Sr. and Mary Bailey Stout. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was retired from B.A. Murray Construction Company with 24 years of service. He was a 50 plus year member of the Thomas M. Holt Masonic Lodge #492 in Graham and he was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where he was active in Church and Church activities. He loved to spend time outside in his garden and make sure everyone who needed vegetables around the neighborhood got them. He was an avid fan of blue grass and gospel music and Mr. Stout also proudly served in the US ARMY. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Claudette Guthrie Stout, of the home; daughters, Cindy Wood and husband Tim, of Graham, Wendy Willey and husband Brad, of Washington State, and Lindy Isley, of Graham; sister, Gladys S. Thompson, of Graham; grandchildren, Jesse Wood, Brad Wood, Adam Willey, Josh Willey, and Coby Isley; great grandchild, L.J. Wood, and many loving Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Masonic Rites. Officiating will be the Rev. Joseph Park. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church fellowship hall, and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to bethel UMC General Fund at 6364 Snow Camp Rd, Graham, NC 27253. The Thomas M. Holt Lodge #492 will hold Emergent Communication at 9:00 AM at the Lodge.
