Jessie Neal “Buddy” Jeffries, 88, of Burlington died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Hospice Home. He was a native of Alamance County, NC, self-employed as a tree removal service and a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie John & Mary Carroll Jeffries; son, Anthony Jeffries, ex wife, Sarah Jeffries and special friend Peggy Johnson

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Debra Jeffries and friend Gary; son, Jerry Jeffries; daughter in law, Dawn Phillips; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Pat Oliver and husband Bill

A service to celebrate his life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Deep Creek Baptist church by Pastor Tommy Fargis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham 6:00 – 8:00 Tuesday night. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance/Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215
