Joan Bernette Cardonell 64, of Burlington, NC passed away on June 9, 2022 at her residence. A native of Patterson, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Jack and Jean Meador Cardonell, who survives. Joan alongside Terri started and operated Busy Beavers Cleaning Service and Joan had a special love for animals. In addition to her mother, survivors include her domestic partner, Teresa “Terri” Pendergraph, of the home; her brothers, Mark and Melvin Cardonell; and a number of loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 25, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
