Joan Mayton Faircloth

Joan Faircloth, 81, of Burlington, passed away on July 20, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Clarence Mayton and Margie Cates. She loved going to the beach, shopping and going out to eat.  Those left cherish her memory are her son, Ivey Faircloth; daughter, Annette Torres; sisters, Frances Walters, Edna Kimble; brothers, Carl Mayton, Robert Mayton; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph and Jimmy Mayton.  A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday July 29, 2024 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane.  The family will receive friends from 10am-11am at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service.
