Joan Coble Massey

Ms. Joan Coble Massey, 82, of Burlington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell. A native of Guilford County, Joan was the daughter of the late Frank Clifford and Iona Clapp Coble. She will always be remembered for her warm smile and her love for the Lord. Joan worked as a receptionist at Glen Raven Mills for 30 years and was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church, where she attended for 60 years.

Ms. Massey is survived by her daughter, Susan Massey; her sister, Lana Kimbrough; her nieces, Tracy Cook and Tara London; and many great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, beginning at 11:00AM at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington. The family will receive friends following the service.
