Joann Sample Bryant

Mrs. Joann Sample Bryant 86, of Burlington, NC passed away on April 17, 2023 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. A native of Gaston Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Ruble Winford Sample and Alean Triplett Sample. Joann enjoyed working with her flowers and making flower arrangements for her friends. She had a love for Christmas and over the years she has made numerous Christmas ornaments for friends and family. Joann was a member of Riverside Baptist Church where she sang in the Church Choir, enjoyed singing solos at Church and she loved her Church family dearly. Survivors include her loving husband, Arvell Dean Bryant; her daughters, Debbie Dixon and husband Ben, Dina Bryant and Janine Bradley; her many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren which she loved so much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lee Wilkins. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at Riverside Baptist Church with the Pastor Bob Stevenson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Riverside Baptist Church. A private burial will be held at Alamance Memorial Park.
