MEBANE - JoAnn Kernodle Wilson, 60, of 402 N. Ninth St., Mebane, NC passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at her residence.JoAnn was born in Orange County. She was a former Lab. Tech. with Glen Raven Mills and a member of Faith Worship and Healing Center.JoAnn is survived by her husband, Willie Dean Wilson of the home. Daughters, Lori Brown (Brian) of Mebane and Kristy Taylor (Bobby) of Burlington. Son, Todd Wilson (Christy Barton) of Mebane. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother, Luther Melvin Kernodle, Jr. (Shirley) of Mebane. Sisters, Betty McGee of Burlington, Alice Steele of Burlington, Barbara Smith (Kevin) of Elon and Mary Gibson (Larry) of Smithfield.She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Melvin Kernodle, Sr. and Nellie Rice Kernodle.A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 12 noon in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be the Reverend Rick Eller. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 Tuesday evening.
