Joel Terrell

Joel Shepherd Terrell, 57 passed away in Raleigh, NC on March 30, 2026. Born in Burlington, NC, Joel was the child of J.C. (Janet) Scott and Don Moose. Born and raised in Graham, Joel currently resided in Raleigh. Joel graduated from Graham High School and attended NC State University. Throughout the years, Joel maintained friendships with his childhood and college friends. His closest friendship was with his son, Blake. Joel was a successful medical sales representative for many years and enjoyed helping people through his knowledge and skills. He was quick to share a laugh with anyone (who crossed his path) with his good humor. His presence would light up the entire room & everyone who knew him loved him deeply. One of the brightest lights in this world has gone to the other side to shine brighter. Joel was preceded in death by his Dad, Don. He is survived by his mom, JC, son Blake Shepherd Terrell and sister, Jessica (Moose) Tucker and husband, David Tucker. Extended family includes birth father Mitchell B. Terrell, Morris A. Terrell, uncle, two aunts Cindy & Myra. Joel also had other family members including an aunt & cousins in Burlington. Visitation will be held from 12pm - 3pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Graveside service will take place at 3:30pm immediately afterwards at Graham Memorial Park.
