Mr. John Charles Chatman, 89, of Graham, NC passed away early Thursday morning at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell. John was born in Haw River, NC, to Allie Banks Chatman and Mildred Burgess Chatman. He was a retired machinist from Western Electric. Mr. Chatman is a veteran, serving his country through The United States Army. John was also a member of Nall Memorial Baptist Church in Graham.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Murray Chatman, and his daughter, Robin Chatman.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 2pm-3pm, with a funeral service to follow at McClure Funeral Service in Graham, beginning at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Authoracare Hospice Home of Alamance- Caswell.
