Mr. John Cleveland “JC” Headen Jr., 67, of 314 Steelecrest Rd, Graham, NC, passed away on Thursday July 2, 2015 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center. He is the son of the late John C. Headen Sr. and Luvenia Chalmers Headen, who survives of Siler City. A native of Chatham County, NC, he was a loving and devoted husband, a wonderful father, and he adored his grandchildren. JC retired from AT&T at the Guilford Center. He was a member of Martin’s Chapel Baptist Church and he was known for his loving and caring ways, he always helped others, visiting friends, and giving family and friends gifts to always put a smile on someone’s face. He was an avid artist as he enjoyed painting and drawing diffident things. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Burnette Headen, of the home; daughter, Kristin Morrow and husband Derek, of Charlotte; grandchildren, Matthew and Zachary Morrow, of Charlotte; and several other loving family members. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday July 6, 2015 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Rev. Henry Simmons and the Rev. Ronald Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at McClure Funeral Service, and other times at the residence of the family.
