John Ralph Lambert

John Ralph Lambert was born September 4, 1943 in West Jefferson, NC.  He was one of eight children.  He had 5 brothers and two sisters.  At the age of seventeen, he moved to Burlington and met the love of his life, Carolyn Lambert.  They have been married for sixty years.  He was a family man.  What drove him the most was being able to raise his great grandchildren.  He lived his life to the fullest.  Every time he went to an amusement park, he had to ride every roller coaster he could.  He worked for Copeland Fabric for forty years. One thing everyone close to him can say is if you ever needed a pen, he always had one.  He loved to go to yard sales.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Lambert; his father, Johnny Lambert; his four brothers, Roy, Paul, Alan, and Joey Lambert; his daughter Sheila Gail Lambert; his son, Johnathan Paul Lambert; and his mother in law, Georgia Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lambert; his daughter, Karen Taylor (Bobby); his grandsons, Johnathan Paul Lambert II and Joshua Lambert (Audrey); his granddaughter, Shelia Gail Isoma (Nick); his great grandson, Alan Paul Lambert; his great granddaughter, Hailey Anne Lambert; his two sisters, Mary Gordon and Doris Wilson; and his brother, Billy Lambert.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow at Pinehill Cemetery in Burlington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
