John Paul Longest

John Paul Longest, 74, of Benson, NC passed away on August 27, 2019.  Born in Graham, NC., John was the son of the late L. Paul Longest and Grace Taylor Longest.  He attended Graham High School, Montreat College and Elon College.  He formerly worked in retail and later in healthcare. He was a longtime member of the Graham Presbyterian Church.

John is survived by two sisters; Judy Winstead (Wayne) of Roxboro and Mary Bradham of Dunn.  Nieces and nephews; Whit Bradham (Dena), Hugh Bradham (Lisa), Dr. David Bradham (Meredith), Mary Gage (Will) all of Dunn, Dr. Nancy Riddell (Ewen) of Clarksville, Va., Jennifer Mann of New York.

Great nieces and nephews; Dr. Ashley Ferguson (Jon) of Kernersville, John Paul Gage of Lillington, Grayson Bradham, Reagan Bradham, Sydney Bradham, Dr. Emily Pope (Bryant), Grace Gage all of Dunn, Beth Bradham of Raleigh, Braxton Bradham of Durango, Colorado and Paul Buchanan (Heather) of Rock Hill, SC.  A great-great niece Lillie Grace Buchanan of Sydney Australia.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on August 31, 2019 at Alamance Memorial Park.
