Dick was from Alamance County and was a father of three daughters: Cynthia Rice (Tommy, deceased), Tammie McCarter (Martin), and Tracy Moore (Joe). Dick’s love for life was evident in every car he built and every lawnmower he fixed. Racing was not just a hobby for him, it was in his blood. His passion for racing brought immense joy to both him and those around him, His garage was more than a workspace, it was a place where laughter echoed, jokes were shared, and lasting friendships were formed. His legacy of joy, humor, and mechanical mastery will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
There will never be any words to express the pain of losing you, but we carry a piece of you with us that will never be forgotten.
There will be a private graveside service held at Springwood Presbyterian Church Cemetery. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is honored to serve the family.
