Johnnie Lipscomb Mcbane

Mrs. Johnnie Elizabeth Lipscomb McBane, 79, of Haw River, NC, passed away on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Lewis and Margaret Albright Lipscomb. She was a member of Baptist Temple for over 40 years and she loved her Church family. She enjoyed to garden especially when it came to her flowers and she was an art enthusiast, having done many wonderful oil paintings over the years. Survivors include her husband, John Albert McBane; daughters, Lisa Ann Umphlett, of Bailey, NC and Susan Elizabeth McBane, of McLeansville, NC; sister, Judy Wall and husband Dewey, of Graham; grandchildren, William Woodcock, Emily Newton and Olivia McIntyre. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday April 28, 2018 at Baptist Temple with the Pastor Dr. Don Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 prior to service time on Saturday at the Church and other times at the residence of the sister, Judy at 1234 Boxwood Terrace, Graham. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Temple at 2224 S Anthony Ct, Burlington, NC 27215
