Joseph H. Hurdle

This world has lost a loving, caring man.  On the morning of Tuesday, January 21, 2020 Joseph Hardy Hurdle, V. born June 5, 1945, age 74 died at his home in the presence of his loving wife.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Hurdle; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Ping Hurdle; dear son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Dana Hurdle; step son, Joshua Evans; step daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Casey Arnette; grandchildren, Clara Evans, Tucker Arnette and Kepley Arnette; long time family friend, Leya Turner. Joe graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering

He surrounded himself with all things that fly. Always a lover of flight, he enjoyed flying kites at the beach or in a nearby field at home. He piloted small planes, large planes and even model planes. He had a large circle of friends through flying, who loved him and flying too. HE will be missed.

The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham 2-4 Saturday afternoon. The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Alamance/Caswell for the love and care given to Joe.
