Joy Young Horner

Joy Horner, 65, passed away at her residence on November 30, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Howard and Doris Young.  Before retirement she worked as a CNA at Hawfields Presbyterian Home.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mark Horner; daughters, Amy Horner (David Overman), Cynthia Inman (Jesse); 12 grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Minch; brother, Jeffery Young, brother in-law, Leroy Horner; James Riley (Sydni) who is like a son to Joy and Mark; niece, Christy Strickland who has provided loving care for Joy and Mark , and continues to do so.  The family will receive friends on Saturday December 2, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.
