Joy Lee Johnson Norman

Joy Lee Johnson Norman, 86, of Burlington went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 28 at Liberty Commons. She was a native of Chatham County, a homemaker and a member Powerline Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Pauline Stone Johnson and her husband, Baxter Louis Johnson. She is survived by her sons, David Johnson and wife Cindy of Burlington and Jimmy Johnson and wife Polly of Burlington; sister, Frances Lee of Randleman; 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 3:00 PM Monday at Big Meadows Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. John Shields. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Monday from 1:00 – 2:00 before the service.
