Judy Cordell Moser

Judy Lena Cordell Moser of Graham NC went to be with the Lord Friday March 13, 2020 at Hospice Home in Burlington NC after a year of failing health.

She was the wife of the late Robert Lee “Bob” Moser.  They will celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary in Heaven on March 16, 2020.

Judy will be missed and loved forever by her beloved family, sister Wanda Morris of Olivia NC, son Todd Moser of the home, daughter Cathy Hutchins and son-in-law Howie of Huntsville, Al, 4 grandchildren Paige Moser-Fulp (Mike), Robyn Moser (Jarrad), Matt Moser(Amanda) and Olivia Hutchins, 5 great-grandchildren Angel, Landon, Logan, Kalli and Ayden, a forever daughter-in-law Leslie Roberts (Jeff) and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul Cordell and Olivia Fleming Cordell, grandson Michael Moser, 7 brothers Paul Jr., Jimmy, Joe, Billy, Bobby, William and Terry, 7 sisters Bea, Esther, Betty, Shirley Ann, Nancy, Pat and Dale, and her fur-baby Lady.

Judy was a native of Buncombe County, NC.  Judy was retired from Lucent Technologies (Western Electric, AT&T).  She was a member of the Alamance Beautification Committee and president of her home owner’s association.

Judy was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, Mom, mother-in-law, Mamaw, and friend.  She was one of the most loving, caring and generous people you would ever want to know.  She was an avid Carolina Tarheel fan. She loved gardening, painting, a good western and an occasional Sam Elliott movie.

She loved to tell corny jokes and sing to her grandkids.

Mamaw, We love you a bushel and a peck!

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2 pm at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 on Tuesday prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
