Judy Root

Judy Marilyn Root, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on June 25, 1948, to the late Leslie and Marilyn Root.

She had a love for reading; her intellectual curiosity was also evident in her love for puzzles. Judy's competitive spirit shone brightly during card games, where she was both a formidable opponent and a gracious winner. Her passion for the arts was a significant part of Judy's life, as she dedicated countless hours volunteering at the Orange Community Players.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Amanda Fields (Douglas), and a sister, Jean Sweet (Bill). Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Pace; a sister, Joan Bilek and brother in-law Art Bilek.
