Judy Ann (Watson) Prevost

Mrs. Judy Watson Prevost, 76, of Graham, NC passed away on January 9, 2024, at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. A native of Durham, Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Claiborne Victor Watson and Ann Leigh Cook Watson. Judy enjoyed the simple things in life, whether it be a cup of coffee, camping with her family, or just sitting on the beach, she always found the little things in life to make her smile. She had volunteered with The Woman’s Crisis Center in Durham for numerous years helping those in need. Judy will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, but nothing put a smile on her face like her family. She always put her family first over herself, as in the past she would work numerous jobs to keep food on the table and clothes on her daughter’s back, the true definition of a mother. Survivors include her loving daughter, Tiffany Prevost Whaley and husband Jason; Grandchildren, Hannah W. Marks and husband Scott, Mackenzie Neese and husband Michael, and Jayden Whaley; her great grandchildren, Dawson and Finley Marks; a sister, Faye Wiggins and husband Rev. Phil; a brother, Rodney Watson and wife Diane; and nephews, Brian Wiggins and wife Lauren, Colton Wiggins, Damion Wiggins, Gavin Wiggins and kyle Watson; a niece, Bonnie Blue Wiggins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nephews, Ron Wiggins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday January 13, 2024, at City Lake Baptist Church with the Rev. Andrew Mueller and Rev. Phil Wiggins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the City Lake Baptist Church at 1849 Carolina Rd. Burlington, NC 27217.
