Julia D. Martin

Julia Ann Davis Martin, 78, of Mebane went home to be with her Lord and Savior and the love of her life on Monday, September 17, 2018 at her residence. Julia was born May 16, 1940 in Alamance County to Earl Britt Davis, Sr. and Mae Dodson Davis both deceased. She was married to the late Donald Hugh Martin. She was retired from General Electric where she worked as a purchasing agent. She was also a member of Mebane Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Harward (Cindy), Burlington, Rob Harward (Ashley), Mebane, Tony Martin (Michelle), Gibsonville, Sherry Vaughn (Jesse), Graham, and Donnie Martin, Burlington. Grandchildren, Joey Harward, Zach Harward, Taylor Martin, Aubrey Harward, Josh McRainey, and Tristen Gibson. Sister, Jane Davis Flowers  (Phil), Mebane. Brothers, Earl Britt Davis, Jr., (Bonnie) and Bobby Davis (Linda), both of Mebane.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Mebane Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Pastor Bennie Smith and Dr. Jeffrey Smith.

Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 Thursday evening. Other times they will be at the residence.
